DATA MIGRATION SPECIALIST

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Specialist to join our client for an exciting ERP transformation project. This role will be crucial in managing and executing data-related tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, tidying up data in Salesforce, and implementing comprehensive data migration plans.

Key Responsibilities

1. ERP Transformation

• Data Ownership: Take ownership of all data-related aspects of the ERP transformation project.
• Data Migration: Develop and execute data migration plans to ensure a seamless transition
• Data Quality: Oversee data cleanup efforts in Salesforce to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the ERP Project Manager and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure they are met.

2. Data Management

• Data Analysis: Analyze existing data structures, identify issues, and propose solutions for data improvement.
• Data Mapping: Create data mapping documents to support the migration process.
• Data Validation: Implement and oversee data validation procedures to ensure data integrity throughout the migration process.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data-related processes, including data migration plans, data mapping, and data validation results.

3. Implementation

• Technical Expertise: Utilize technical skills to support the data migration process, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
• Testing and Verification: Conduct thorough testing and verification of migrated data to ensure it meets business requirements.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions to the project timeline.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in data management, data migration, and ERP systems, Sales force and D365.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, SQL, and data analysis tools.
• Salesforce: Experience with Salesforce data management and cleanup
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
