Key Responsibilities

Media Relations & Strategy

  • Build, curate, and maintain targeted media lists across financial and trade publications.
  • Monitor the financial news cycle ETFs, digital assets, market structure and contribute to pitch ideation. Coordinate and secure media opportunities between reporters and clients.
  • Track outreach efforts, monitor follow-ups, and log media coverage.

Client Management

  • Lead and coordinate client calls, media training sessions, and messaging workshops.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, ensuring clear communication and timely deliverables.
  • Respond promptly to client emails and requests.

Content Development

  • Draft press releases, pitch notes, blog posts, and social media content for both the agency and clients.
  • Transform media wins into content assets such as LinkedIn posts, email updates, and blogs.
  • Support the creation of thought-leadership pieces by researching and incorporating relevant statistics and data.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Log press coverage and media hits in the master tracking system.
  • Generate reports and PR performance metrics using tools like CoverageBook.

Ideal Profile Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations.
  • Proven knowledge of the asset management industry (ETFs, digital assets, mutual funds, market structure).
  • Strong existing media relationships or the ability to quickly build connections with financial journalists.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling content.
  • Excellent client-facing and relationship-building abilities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience at a PR agency or in-house with an asset manager, fintech firm, or financial media outlet.
  • Familiarity with PR tools such as CoverageBook, Meltwater, or Cision.

Schedule & Location

  • Full-time: 9 hours/day, 5 days/week Work hours aligned with Eastern Time (ET) — Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
  • Remote position
